Gemini CLI
About 1 minute · MegaMCPs has not checked this client yet
- Add MegaMCPs to ~/.gemini/settings.json (httpUrl is Gemini's Streamable HTTP setting):
{ "mcpServers": { "megamcps": { "httpUrl": "https://mcp.megamcps.com/mcp" } } } - Start gemini and sign in. Your browser opens MegaMCPs: check the account and click Allow.
/mcp auth megamcps
If it doesn't work
- /mcp list shows each server's status; Gemini CLI doesn't show MCP errors on its own.
- Sign-in needs a browser on the same machine. Over SSH or in a container, use an API key: add "headers": { "Authorization": "Bearer mmk_your_key" } to the megamcps entry.
- Keep underscores out of the server name.
- Sign-in fails with invalid_client? Remove the server from the app and add it again.

Create an account and connect a service first. Onboarding then shows this guide beside a live check that turns green at your client's first tool call.
